The brand-new Radiator Thermostat W600, first teased back at IFA 2025, is now officially available and it’s packed with features that make traditional radiators feel downright futuristic.
The W600 takes the hassle out of home heating by giving you precise temperature control, automated climate adjustments, and full Matter compatibility over Thread (with Zigbee available too). In short: it turns your old radiator into an intelligent, energy saving device that’s perfect for comfort, convenience, and lower bills.

Energy-Smart, Room by Room
Instead of heating the whole house, the W600 [Ad] lets you heat only the spaces you’re actually using. You can set up to 7 time periods per day per room, shaping your heating around your daily routine. And because the thermostat can react to presence, geofencing, and other triggers, it adjusts automatically as life happens warming the living room before you get home or pausing heat in an empty bedroom at night.
Pair the W600 with Aqara contact sensors and it’ll even pause heating when a window is opened. Smart, simple, energy-saving.
Comfort, Just the Way You Like It
The thermostat offers precise ±0.5°C adjustments and allows you to group radiators together for room-wide control. And whether you prefer apps, Alexa, Siri, Google Assistant/Gemini, or Aqara’s own ecosystem, you can tweak your heating however you like.
Aqara also recommends pairing with an external temperature sensor (like the Climate Sensor W100 or FP300) for even better accuracy, since built-in sensors can be influenced by radiator heat. Bonus: it’s whisper-quiet at under 30 dB, so nighttime temperature shifts won’t disturb your sleep.
Built for the Future (and Your Existing Setup)
With dual Thread/Zigbee support, the radiator thermostat W600 works seamlessly with all major Matter platforms without needing an Aqara hub unless you switch to Zigbee mode for more advanced automations inside the Aqara Home app.
It also brings wider compatibility for European radiators thanks to its support for M30×1.5mm threads and included adapters (RA, RAV, RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini, M28×1.5mm). The LED screen can flip for horizontal or vertical mounting, and two AA batteries deliver up to 2 years of life, double the previous model.
The W600, W500 floor heating thermostat, and W100 climate sensor, all are supporting Thread/Zigbee. Aqara is building a future-proof HVAC lineup designed for the modern smart home.
