Aqara, has unveiled its latest innovation in home security: the Doorbell Camera Hub G410 [Amazon Ad]. This next-generation video doorbell is now available globally. It promises to elevate home monitoring with an array of advanced features. These include 2K video quality, on-device facial recognition, a built-in presence sensor, and seamless smart home integration.

The G410 is designed to be at the heart of a smart home, serving as a versatile multi-protocol Matter hub. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Thread, Zigbee, and Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of smart home devices.

As a Matter Controller, Thread Border Router, and Zigbee hub, the G410 [Amazon Ad] can seamlessly connect Aqara’s ecosystem of devices. It also connects more than 50 third-party Matter-compatible products, including smart locks, sensors, and lighting. Additionally, it connects with newer devices like robotic vacuums, home appliances, and EV chargers.

Equipped with a 2K lens, f/1.8 aperture, and a 175° wide-angle field of view, the Doorbell Camera Hub G410 ensures crystal-clear video capture. Additionally, its millimeter wave (mmWave) sensor provides accurate presence detection, reducing false alerts.

The facial recognition feature can identify visitors and trigger notifications or automations, all without a subscription. With the newly added Advanced Matter Bridging capability, the G410 [Amazon Ad] can integrate with third-party Matter platforms like Home Assistant. This further extends its AI-driven functionality.

The G410’s integration into existing smart homes is seamless, with compatibility with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings. It supports HomeKit Secure Video, making it an ideal choice for Apple users. Additionally, the device is RTSP compatible. This enables streaming to third-party platforms such as Home Assistant and NVR software like Frigate and Blue Iris.
