At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Aqara is making a strong case for what the next phase of the smart home. Rather than simply adding “smarter” devices, Aqara is building a cohesive ecosystem centred around spatial intelligence systems that sense presence, behaviour, and environmental context to deliver better comfort, security, and energy efficiency across homes and commercial environments alike.
New Spatial Intelligence Hubs
At the heart of Aqara’s CES showcase are two new Matter controllers designed to act as the command centers of a smart space.

Thermostat Hub W200
The new Thermostat Hub W200 goes well beyond traditional climate control. Powered by Apple’s Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance features in iOS 26, it automatically adjusts heating and cooling based on when you’re heading home, your activity state (home, sleep, away, extended away), and even when cleaner or cheaper energy is available on the grid.
In practical terms? Your home stays comfortable without you touching a thing—and uses less energy doing it.
The W200 also doubles as a security control panel. Its 4-inch full-color touchscreen can sync with Aqara doorbells and smart locks, letting you see who’s at the door and unlock it right from the thermostat. It’s an interesting and very practical blend of climate control and home security in a single wall-mounted device. We are very, very excited about the Thermostat Hub W200.

Camera Hub G350
The Camera Hub G350 is the company’s first Matter-certified camera, and it’s a big one. This indoor PTZ camera features a dual-lens setup with a 4K wide-angle lens and a 2.5K telephoto lens, delivering up to 9x hybrid zoom for both wide coverage and close-up detail.
On-device AI enables person and pet detection, facial recognition, sound alerts, and automatic tracking, keeping subjects in frame without relying on the cloud. With Matter 1.5 support, the G350 also plays nicely with third-party platforms like SmartThings and Homey, making it one of the more future-proof cameras we’ve seen announced at CES.
Sensors That Actually Understand What’s Happening
Aqara continues to push sensor technology forward with devices that focus on awareness, not just motion.
Spatial Multi-Sensor FP400
The FP400 uses mmWave radar and AI to track multiple people in real time, including their position and posture standing, sitting, or lying down. It can even detect falls when mounted on a wall, making it especially compelling for healthcare, assisted living, or aging-in-place scenarios.
Beyond safety, it also supports advanced analytics like realtime headcount, dwell time, and walking distance, opening the door to smarter automation in both homes and commercial spaces.

Multi-State Sensor P100
The Multi-State Sensor P100 may be small, but it’s surprisingly versatile. With 9-axis sensing and AI-driven detection, it can recognize vibration, motion, taps, drops, tilt, and even knocks.
That means it can go far beyond doors and windows monitoring glass breakage, object movement, or valuable items. It’s Matter enabled, dual-protocol (Thread and Zigbee), and clearly designed for creative automations and enhanced security use cases.

Smarter Access: Smart Lock U400
Rounding out Aqara’s hardware lineup is the Smart Lock U400, a Matter-certified deadbolt that supports Apple’s Home Key with ultra-wide band (UWB).
With hands-free unlock enabled, the door unlocks automatically when you’re about six feet away no phone tapping or watch gestures required. It also supports Apple Wallet on iPhone and Apple Watch, and it’s Aliro-ready for future digital key standards, including compatibility with platforms like Samsung Wallet.
This is the kind of frictionless access that actually feels futuristic and useful.
Managing It All: Aqara Builder Platform
Beyond devices, Aqara is also introducing Aqara Builder, an all-in-one smart space management platform. Designed for both residential and commercial deployments, Builder offers cloud-based project management, remote access, multi-site control, and collaborative tools for installers and users alike.
Whether it’s a single smart home or a portfolio of managed properties, Aqara Builder aims to simplify configuration, monitoring, and ongoing support without locking users into overly complex workflows.
The Big Picture
Aqara’s CES 2026 showcase makes one thing clear: the future of the smart home isn’t about adding more devices it’s about making spaces more aware, more responsive, and ultimately more human-centric.
With deep Matter support, tight Apple ecosystem integration, and a growing focus on spatial intelligence, Aqara is positioning itself as one of the most forward-thinking players in the smart home space this year and CES attendees are getting a first look at what that future might feel like.
